Hyde Wood House B&B is a comfortable and welcoming family home, originally built as a working farmhouse. Although it is no longer a working farm it still has stables that help it retain its character. One mile from Minchinhampton village centre, close to Stroud and Cirencester, and on the edge of the Gatcombe Park Estate, Hyde Wood House B&B provides an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and historic area.
Our aim is to provide homely accommodation in comfortable rooms. A warm welcome is assured, with tea and homemade cakes offered on afternoon arrival to help guests recover from their journey. Comprehensive breakfasts are served in an elegant dining room. For those with a good appetite a traditional farmhouse breakfast is served, straight from the aga. A lighter breakfast is available for those with smaller appetites. The house is tastefully furnished with a log fire in the lounge on cold winter nights. In the summer you can relax in the sunroom after a day sightseeing in the Cotswolds. The garden is available for recreation. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with remote control TV and radio and other homely extras. Hairdryers, extra bedding and ironing facilities are available upon request. We hope to cater for all your needs, so please inform us of any special requirements. Please note that Hyde Wood House is a no-smoking establishment. Self-catering at the Woolsack
