| THE LAMB INN, BURFORD The Lamb is everyone's dream of what an ancient English Inn should be, but with modern comforts, excellent service and award winning food.  The Lamb dates back to the 15th Century and to step inside is to step back
in history with its flag stone floors, gleaming copper, brass and silver
reflecting the flicker of log fires and antiques that glow with age.
Outside there is a stunning courtyard and walled garden, ideal for dining al fresco in the warmer months. The Inn sits in a tranquil setting in Sheep Street, with its fine architecture and wide grass verges.
The Lamb Inn has 15 bedrooms, including one with a
four-poster bed that is steeped in history. The others offer a choice of twin
or double beds or a two bedroom suite. All our bedrooms are en-suite and very
comfortable. Many of them have views onto the leafy side streets of Burford,
while others look out onto the sheltered courtyard at the heart of the hotel.
The peaceful location of The Lamb Inn means that whichever room you choose, you
can be sure of a restful, quiet night’s sleep.
