| SOUTHWOLD HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST, BROADWAY We have WiFi internet access and there is a dedicated
guest PC available.
The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort throughout with period furniture. A selection of books and dvds is available for guest use and the atmosphere of the house is that of a traditional English home. Southwold House bed and breakfast hotel in Broadway, was originally built in Victorian/Edwardian times, circa 1900 as a family home. In 1960, Southwold House was converted into high quality bed and breakfast guest house and therefore is well established, welcoming many guests visiting Broadway in Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.
On the ground floor of Southwold House will be found our
tastefully decorated dining room which seats eighteen. Guests will enjoy a
first class breakfast of their choice, cooked to order, with fruits of the
season, tea and freshly ground coffee.
The accommodation which Southwold provides can be found on the first and second floors. It consists of eight en suite bedrooms. We have: 2 super-king/twin bedrooms with en suite showers, 3 double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, and a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite, and a large en suite family room which has 1 double bed and through double glass doors a sofa bed or two folding beds affording the 'grown-ups' some privacy. We also have a cot available. On the first landing we have a single room with personal shower across the hall
Each room has thermostatically controlled central
heating, hospitality trays with tea, coffee and drinking chocolate making
facilities, biscuits, mineral water, colour television with remote control,
clock radio and hairdryer. An extensive garden with wonderful fruit trees is available for guests. Why not take a book and relax in the hammock under the apple trees? Have a game of boule, play Frisbee with the youngsters or just sit with a glass of wine or cup of tea and enjoy the peace and quiet of an English garden.
