SOUTHWOLD HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST, BROADWAY

Southwold House bed and breakfast is a non-smoking B&B guest house hotel in Broadway, with first class accommodation where you can be assured of a very warm welcome by your hosts Alyson and Trevor. For your convenience we have off road, secure parking for all our guests.

The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort throughout with period furniture. A selection of books and dvds is available for guest use and the atmosphere of the house is that of a traditional English home. Southwold House bed and breakfast hotel in Broadway, was originally built in Victorian/Edwardian times, circa 1900 as a family home. In 1960, Southwold House was converted into high quality bed and breakfast guest house and therefore is well established, welcoming many guests visiting Broadway in Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.

On the ground floor of Southwold House will be found our tastefully decorated dining room which seats eighteen. Guests will enjoy a first class breakfast of their choice, cooked to order, with fruits of the season, tea and freshly ground coffee.
A short distance from the dining room is the sitting room where guests can relax, listen to music, read, watch television and enjoy a glass of wine in a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere.

The accommodation which Southwold provides can be found on the first and second floors. It consists of eight en suite bedrooms. We have: 2 super-king/twin bedrooms with en suite showers, 3 double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, and a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite, and a large en suite family room which has 1 double bed and through double glass doors a sofa bed or two folding beds affording the 'grown-ups' some privacy. We also have a cot available. On the first landing we have a single room with personal shower across the hall

Each room has thermostatically controlled central heating, hospitality trays with tea, coffee and drinking chocolate making facilities, biscuits, mineral water, colour television with remote control, clock radio and hairdryer.
Southwold guests will enjoy the extra comfort of traditional flat linen sheets. The bathrooms have to hand, toiletries, fluffy towels and heated towel rails. A morning newspaper service directly to your room, before breakfast, is also available.

An extensive garden with wonderful fruit trees is available for guests. Why not take a book and relax in the hammock under the apple trees? Have a game of boule, play Frisbee with the youngsters or just sit with a glass of wine or cup of tea and enjoy the peace and quiet of an English garden.

A 2.5% charge will be made on all credit card transactions.
Debit cards carry no charge.

We do not accept personal cheques unless paid and cleared in advance.
Cancellation Policy - We have a cancellation policy of 72 hours after which time if you cancel or amend your reservation you will remain responsible for the cost of your stay. We always do our best to re-sell any cancelled rooms and would then only charge you any difference in price.
